Building a Pan-European Light IPP
Naxxar Energy Group is an independent renewable energy platform which commenced business in January 2021 in Romania, now implementing a fully integrated pan-European business in Germany, Denmark, Romania, Italy and Spain. The scope of business is fully integrated, with end-to-end capabilities across the development, construction and operational value chain. Naxxar Energy has a multi-technology (Wind, PV and BESS) approach, with an emphasis on wind farms. The project pipeline reaches from greenfield to ready-to-build to operating power plants.
To date, Naxxar Energy has developed her own 1.6 GW of wind power onshore. Naxxar Group company sold her NX4 wind power project with a connection license of 685.6 MW to Polenergia, the leading IPP of Poland.
The group is continuously examining and vetting acquisitions of wind, solar and BESS projects and has accumulated an impressive M & A pipeline exceeding 1.5 GW across Germany, Denmark and Romania.”

Naxxar Energy focuses on Core EU markets like (without limitation) Germany, Italy, Spain and Denmark with the addition of Romania as a strong growth market of geostrategic importance, offering options for large scale projects.
Multi-Technology
We at Naxxar Energy believe that an optimized portfolio should be composed of mainly wind power parks with an admixture of solar power to achieve balanced outputs. Battery storage systems are a necessary complement for any power grid with a high percentage of renewable energy input. In the near future Naxxar Energy will enter this business field as well.
Full Integration
The business strategy of Naxxar Energy is spanning the whole life cycle of projects: Ranging from greenfield to matured to ready-to-build projects, entering construction phase and keeping projects during operation.
Light IPP
Naxxar Energy is on its way to becoming a Light IPP, meaning Naxxar intends to sell down shares in her projects and stay in as a minority partner during construction and operation.
Timeline
Within next 7 years, Naxxar Energy will develop, construct, and operate 5.2 GW, thereof owning at least 1.2 GW.
