Our NX3 wind farm will soon rise near Brăila in Tudor Vladimirescu commune, Romania, becoming the largest of its kind in the country. With approximately 40 turbines and a total capacity exceeding 300 MW, the project is close to securing all necessary approvals and funding. The turbines will be strategically spaced to allow landowners to continue agricultural activities around them, while adhering to best practices in environmental conservation and community integration.
This project will provide a significant boost to Tudor Vladimirescu’s economy, directly through taxes, fees, and job creation during both construction and operation, and indirectly by attracting industry through the supply of affordable, green electricity.

We announce that on September 27, 2024, Naxxar and Polenergia S.A. have taken another step in the execution of their shares purchase agreement concluded on October 5, 2023 by means of completing the transfer of the remaining 40% Call Option shares in Naxxar Wind Farm Four SRL ( NX4 ).
As per the agreement with Polenergia, Naxxar shall continue its efforts in collaboration with all involved parties to achieve the full development of NX4 project, one of the largest onshore wind farm projects located in Tulcea County, Romania, aiming at implementing the estimated capacity of approximately 685.6 MW. The project is at an advanced stage of development and it is progressing at full pace toward completion and commissioning in alignment with the previously envisaged timeline.

The installation of the meteorological masts marks a significant milestone for the Naxxar Wind Energy Project NX3. These installations are essential for validating preliminary data and ensuring the project’s viability.
The installation of the meteorological towers, also known as met masts, was concluded on June 27, 2024, with final acceptance upon the completion of the work. These facilities will be used to collect raw wind data at a height similar to that of the planned wind turbines.
The information collected will validate data obtained from lower-height wind masts as well as virtual analyses compiled through mathematical models.
